What to expect from this online workshop

In this workshop, we will explore what podcasting is, RSS feeds, how to create your own podcasts, how to host a podcast, various podcasting software and how it applies to teaching and learning.

This workshop is aimed at individuals who have good ICT skills and feel comfortable using audio equipment.

This online workshop should take about 3-4 hours to complete. You may complete it in one sitting or return to it when it suits you.

Before you begin this workshop there is some equipment that you will need:

  • Computer with a sound card
  • Headphones or speakers
  • Microphone
  • MP3 player (not essential)
If you are unsure of how to use any of the tools within Moodle click on the help icon Help. This will provide you with some tips.
